Tymphany is developing an entirely new range of VIFA drivers. Prototypes of the new driver line, scheduled to launch January 2009, will be on display at Tymphany’s suite at CEDIA in September 2008.
The new range will include the following:

• Woofers/subwoofers from 4” to 12” diameter
• Midrange/full range drivers from 2” to 4” diameter
• Tweeters from 0.75” to 1.5” diameter

The woofers will feature die-cast baskets with neodymium motors and will be highly customizable for OEM customers, with cone materials ranging from paper and wood fiber to aluminum and other super stiff alloys. The tweeters will be available in hard or soft domes, with multiple materials available. The full range drivers will have a variety of applications including compact home theater and consumer electronics applications as well as professional applications in telecommunication devices.
